Most mobile networks/operators require the recipient of the sms to activate email-to-sms capability of his mobile phone in order for this free sms service to work. You should be able to find instructions about mail2sms activation on your provider website or by contacting them directly. We are researching this and will be adding information in the future. If you know details on the mail2sms activation for your local mobile operator NOT supported by our website, please send us an email.

This means that you entered wrong phone number or the service email-to-sms in not activated for this number. Information about the activation can be found on the site of your provider.

Short Message Service. It is a standard feature of the GSM protocol (used by most mobile phone networks around the world), and allows messages of up to 160 characters to be sent to mobile phones.

Standard SMS messages may be up to 160 characters long, but some of the operator supports up to 120 characters long

Some companies add a 'tag' which advertises their company; this also eats in to the 160 character limit. We do NOT add any text to your messages.

All the numbers and messages that you send are treated in the strictest confidence. We will never use them or share the information with other companies.

Ideally mobile numbers should be in International format without the leading '00' or '+'. For example; 447xxxxxxxxx or 35387xxxxxxx. There should be no spaces or other symbols within numbers.
